アメリカの歴史上でニューディール政策という政策があります。

During a recession, the government orders public works projects, which create jobs for their construction.

不況の際、公共事業を政府が発注します。そーしますと、その建造のために、必要な雇用が発生します。

The economy will be revitalized and recover from the economic downturn.

経済は活性化し、経済不況から回復します。

In this application, a government orders public works projects, such as asphalt road paving.

この応用で、公共事業、例えば道路のアスファルト舗装を、政府が発注します。

This will contribute to national development and sustained economic vitality.

続けます。このことは、国土開発と、経済活性化の維持に貢献します。

Building police branch offices and increasing the number of police officers will improve public safety.

There is no point in increasing the number of police officers unless the police station branch building is constructed first.

警察署の支局の建物の建造を先にしないと、その前に警察官の増員をしても意味がないです。

Since ancient times, there has been a close relationship between the development of humanity and public safety.

太古の昔から、我々人類の発展と、治安は、密接な関係があります。

Wide roads allow trucks to travel on them. This makes it easier to build factories and other facilities. This is because trucks can move in and out for distribution purposes. If the roads are narrow, trucks cannot enter. They cannot transport products. This is what Japan is doing.

幅が広い道路は、トラック車が走ることが可能です。だから工場などが建築しやすいです。流通のために、トラック車が出入りする事が可能だからです。小さい道だと、トラックが入れません。生産物を輸送できません。日本がしているのはここです。

When building a factory, don't forget to build a large parking lot for your employees to park their cars. This will allow employees to commute from far away. This will help you attract more employees.

工場の建造の際には、従業員が車を停めるための、駐車場を広く建造することを忘れないでください。遠くから従業員が通勤できます。従業員が多く集められます。

It's best to build it not too far from the city, otherwise you'll have a nice building but it'll be empty because potential employees can't commute. I think 20 kilometers is about the limit.

シティーからあまり遠くないところに建造するのですよ？そうしないと、立派な建物なのに中は空っぽです。従業員候補が通勤することが出来ないからです。それは、だいたい２０キロメートルが限界であろうと考えます。
